I woke up to a breeze,
lying on the Amstutz Expressway
naked.
I didnt move.
The sky looked like it was caving in on itself,
A gaping vortex of clouds and molecules
Interminterspersedingling
And there was no noise.
That was the strangest part.
No cars,
Just my back on the cracked pavement
And that sky.
Its been 15 hours and 15 minutes since I woke in a panic
Wide eyed heavy breath fingers grasping the sheets
Sprawled out on the Amstutz Expressway
Lifeless and hushed
Thick cold invading my bones.
Eventually I stood up
To the gaping eyes of empty factories and
The
Trainstation
Everything had stopped.
I sank back to the asphalt
In wonder worry
Stood up
Mad with white
Alone on the Amstutz Expressway
Going nowhere
From nowhere
Walking
Barefooted
Naked
Seeing no faces cars
Silence
Nothing
Silence.
Do I dare breathe?
Inhale.
Stare at fingers.
Exhale.
Tears come bent kneed ass to the chill staring out into empty.
Cell phone rings.
Its home
And theres no one there.
But I am intact
Alone
On the Amstutz Expressway.

i'd love to get inside your head, but i've misplaced my scalpel..
I find this kindof different to other stuff in your gallery, more... coherent? Maybe. I like it a lot anyway. 'Interminterspersedingling'- best word ever.

Without civilization mechanism (silence) it is very inspiring..

Silence is truly amazing, yet almost mind boggling to find... Though I have learned over the years to block out the cacophony of civilization.
You're most welcome.
